When we speak about a plan upgrade, two cases can be defined.
Case 1: When your plans have the same billing frequency
If you have subscribed for pCloud Premium on a montly basis and you decide to upgrade to pCloud Premium Plus, your billing date won't change. You will be charged a prorated amount immediately to cover the charge for the rest of the month. In other words, your payment for the month in which you upgrade will be adjusted proportionally to avoid any surcharges.
Case 2: When your plans don't have the same billing frequency
If you have subscribed for pCloud Premium on a monthly basis and you decide to upgrade to pCloud Premium Plus for a year, you will be billed at the new interval, starting on the day of the change. You will be charged a prorated amount immediately to cover the charge for the rest of the month, which means that your payment for the month in which you upgrade will be adjusted proportionally to avoid any surcharges.
