7. What is file decryption?

File decryption is the process of “unlocking” your encrypted files. This is performed via the Crypto Pass you have used to encrypt your Crypto Folder. This Crypto Pass is only known by you and pCloud does not have any access to it. Once decrypted, your Crypto Folder is available for any operations and the files contained inside it are no longer protected with encryption.
