You can choose to disable your browser's built-in password manager and use pCloud Pass as your default browser password manager.
Follow these steps to turn off the built-in password manager in your browser:
Chrome:
- Enter chrome://settings/passwords in the Chrome address bar (or go to Chrome > Settings > Autofill > Passwords)
- Disable the options Offer to save passwords and Auto Sign-in
Firefox:
- Enter about:preferences#privacy in the Firefox address bar (or go to Firefox > Settings > Privacy & Security)
- Under Logins and Passwords, disable the option Ask to save logins and passwords for websites
Edge:
- Enter edge://settings/passwords in the Edge address bar (or go to Edge > Settings > Profiles > Passwords)
- Disable the option Offer to save passwords
Opera:
- Enter opera://settings/passwords in the Opera address bar (or go to Opera > Settings > Privacy & security > Advanced > Passwords)
- Disable the option Offer to save passwords and Auto Sign-in
Brave:
- Open brave://settings/passwords in the Brave address bar (or go to Brave > Settings > Autofill > Passwords)
- Disable the options Offer to save passwords and Auto Sign-in
If you've saved passwords in any of these browsers, you can move them to pCloud Pass with the easy-to-use import tool.
