pCloud Pass (33)
16. How do I enable two-factor authentication for pCloud Pass?

Two-factor authentication is another layer of protection, which requires you to enter a security code when signing in. You can receive this code as a text message or through an authenticator app like Google Authenticator. You can protect pCloud Pass by turning on two-factor authentication for your pCloud account:

  • Open my.pCloud.com and sign in to your pCloud account
  • Click your Account avatar and go to Settings > Security
  • Under the Two-factor authentication setting, choose the preferred method for receiving security codes - via text messages or through an authenticator app

Note: For security reasons, you will be required to enter your pCloud password.

  • Depending on the method you've chosen, the next steps may vary.
  • Finish your setup by saving your recovery codes in a secure location
