45. I got a message that pCloud Drive may not behave properly due to low free space on my local hard disk. What does this mean?

Whenever you copy a lot of large files to pCloud Drive, the application temporarily uses some of the free space on your computer to cache this data so that it’s uploaded to your cloud more efficiently and so that the upload doesn’t suffer if your internet connection is interrupted. However, if your computer is very low on space, pCloud Drive will not be able to take the needed space and this may slow down the process of copying your file(s) from your local disk to pCloud Drive.

Something you can do to solve this is to open your pCloud Drive preferences and go to Settings >> Disk Usage, then decrease the value of the "Minimum Disk Space" setting. We advise you to use pCloud Drive's Uploads feature instead of direct pasting in pCloud Drive. This transfer provides a stable upload process without using your local disk space for caching.
